Designer and visual artist, born in 1962, Pierre Charpin graduated from the Bourges School of Fine Arts in 1984. Since the beginning of the 1990s, he has devoted himself to furniture and object design and has pursued his artistic practice in parallel. He lives in Paris and works in Ivry-sur-Seine. As a designer he collaborates with publishers and internationally renowned companies such as: Alessi, Hay, Hermès, Japan Creative, Ligne Roset, Manufacture nationale de Sèvres, Träffa Träffa, Tectona, Venini, The Wrong Shop, Zanotta.
